This weeks episode features the Austin electro soul duo, Ghostland Observatory. The backbone of the band, producer / drummer Thomas Turner is on the show talking about their new album called Robotique Majestique. Check out the playlist first play on the single from that disc, "Heavy Heart" plus two other songs by the band.
To keep the blood flowing I start the show off this week with some of the best dance / electronica songs I've heard lately. I'll play you a great Calvin Harris song where he's talking about all the girls he gets and also an infectious new Hot Chip song that will get us "ready for the floor"
After we check in with Turner from Ghostland, I change up the mood and spin an Arcade Fire tune from their last album, classic tracks by The Beatles and Bob Marley and then play you a cool slow rocker by the band MGMT...
